How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and personal data, contact us using either of the options below and ask about data deletion:
What to include in your request
So we can find your account quickly and confirm it is really you, please tell us:
- The name on your SmartLabel account.
- The email address or phone number you registered with.
- Any order numbers, if you have them handy (optional, but it helps).
What gets deleted
When we process your request, we delete:
- Your account profile and login details.
- Saved shipping addresses and contact details.
- Custom artwork and files you uploaded or designed, once no longer needed for an open order.
What we may need to keep
We may have to retain limited records — such as invoices and transaction history — to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We keep these only for as long as the law requires, and then delete them. This is consistent with the retention section of our Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
We will acknowledge your request as soon as we can and aim to complete the deletion within 30 days. If you have an order still in production or in transit, we may complete that order first and then delete your data.
